Use Olive in your AI
Add Olive to Claude or ChatGPT to price a grocery list at a Kroger-family store. Ask for “milk, eggs, and coffee at 80202” to see current catalog prices and real markdowns. Connect your account only when you want Olive to use your saved shopping context.
You stay in control. Olive never places orders or handles payment. Public pricing is read-only and does not need an Olive account. Your AI host may have its own plan or limits.
Claude
Add a custom connector in Claude and paste this URL:
https://shopolive.xyz/api/mcpSettings → Connectors → Add custom connector → paste the URL. Then ask Claude to price a list.
ChatGPT
In a custom GPT, add an Action and import this schema URL:
https://shopolive.xyz/api/tools/openapiIn the GPT editor: Actions → Create new action → import from URL. Then test it in Preview.
For a personal connection, set Action authentication to an API key in the custom header x-olive-key, then paste the key you create below. Never put that key in chat.

What Olive can do
- Price up to eight grocery items at a nearby Kroger-family store. No account needed.
- Show actual promotion-versus-regular-price markdowns.
- With a personal connection, search your saved store and prepare a read-only draft.
- Read only the cart, store, preferences, pantry, or recipe names your assistant needs.
- Prepare a cart for your confirmation after you connect Kroger.
- Pass along feedback such as “that price looks wrong.”

- Create a separate AI connection below. Add its one-time key to your connector’s
x-olive-keyheader. Never paste it into chat.
